After the mullet (business up front and party behind) fell out of favour many years ago, I never thought I would truly love another hairstyle again. When Pat Sharp of Funhouse fame (look him up kids, you’re in for a treat) cut off his glorious trademark ‘do I died a little inside. But, now I am free to love again thanks to beautiful English Rose Emma Watson, I am not free to love again. Her super cute crop has now been sleeked into an edgier rock chick style, which is destined to be copied by many this summer…including me.

Over the past few years Emma Watson has emerged as a style icon and last summer when she chopped her once long locks into a retro Twiggy-esque crop she rocketed to the top of style lists across the world; way to fly the flag for Britain, Emma. She has featured in campaigns for ultra-classy fashion house, Burberry and now her fresh face and natural beauty has landed her as the face of Lancome. The little scamp teased us all via twitter, giving us little tit-bits of information before finally revealing the big news:

'It starts with an L and ends with an E. I'm sure you have guessed the new face of Lancôme is me!' she wrote.

On Monday, Miss Watson was spotted on the streets of Paris, filming the new Lancome Ad, which is directed by legend photographer Mario Testino. Her rocking hair was teamed with a delicate nude ruffled mini dress, which was teamed with a biker leather jacket for added attitude. Bright fuchsia lips and smudged smoky eyes completed the rock chick look.

No magic wand was needed for this one. Go team Gryffindor!!
