So it has been a weird old week for Lady Gaga…as if since her arrival in the public eye, she has had any other kind of week. She does like to shock doesn’t she…sometimes I wonder how far she will go; she has already worn a dress made from the off cuts of a butchers shop, arrived at the Grammy’s in a giant egg carried by four beefcakes and released a perfume smelling of (and/or containing) blood and semen. So this week she decided to continue with the ‘weird’ theme that runs through her life.
On Friday of last week she appeared on the marvellously camp Paul O’Grady show in a Gaga special edition of the show. What way to better perform the single ‘Hair’ from her ‘Born This Way Album’, than by donning a bald cap. Apparently, the bald performance was to show the world that Gaga was human too. All her ‘Little Monsters’ probably fell for it (perhaps even believing ‘Mother Monster’ is actually bald) and are shaving their heads across the globe as we speak. But I’m not falling for it; it was obviously just another bid for column inches. You gotta admit it though…no one can do it like Gaga.
Her next gossip-inducing performance, showed entirely too much hair. The Much Music Awards were aired last night, and the line-up included a much-anticipated performance from superstar and weirdo, Lady Gaga. She performed ‘Born This Way’ wearing a long blue wig with a few added extras – bushy blue armpit wigs with matching pubic wig. Who the hell was born that way, with mountains of blue pubes…I would seek the advice of a physician. I will say this though, I loves the shade of blue…good choice Gaga.
She can’t help but be a little bit crazy can she? I’m starting to think that Gaga is not sustained by nutrients and fluids like the rest of us, but is instead sustained by attention. So if Gags doesn’t get sufficient attention she could die…this is serious people, who will sluts dress up as for Halloween.
So what’s next for Gaga? Answers on a postcard please.
