A few weeks ago I told you that Lady Gaga, as well as losing her marbles, was also losing her hair. The next victim of hair loss is Katie Price otherwise known as Jordan. The tit-model is said to have spent more than £50,000 on hair treatments in the past year, including bleaching and wearing hair extensions that weigh three-times the recommended amount. Unsurprisingly, this has left the shy and retiring Katie with numerous bald patches on the sides of her head

The lady is a shrewd business woman, knowing all her money is in her looks; her reaction has been a severe one, some may even say it is a massive overreaction and that her shallow attitude is pretty disgusting.

It’s awful, my hair is my life – without it I feel disgusting” Katie is reported as whinging, by the News of the World.

‘I’m so ugly at the minute. I’ve got spots on my face. I’m bald, horrible nails.’ She complained, obviously realising like the rest of us that looks are indeed everything and what is on the inside doesn’t really matter at all.  Yes as a woman I can imagine it would be awful to lose you hair, a symbol of your femininity. But, her loss was completely self-inflicted, not like some poor women, and her reaction to it certainly was not endearing. Maybe she should take a leaf out of Gail Porter’s book, who dealt with a loss of hair through the condition Alopecia, with good humour and dignity. And maybe in the future she will take better care of her hair that she should realise she is lucky to have.
