Red carpet season continues along with the Annual 84th Academy Awards, the biggest red carpet event of the year – no where else will you see more sequins, more red lipstick or more cleavage. The stars really go for the glamour on Oscars night and there is some real triumphs even before the awards are handed out. Here is Hairbomb's top 5 hair hits from the red carpet.
1) Milla Jovovich:
Could the Resident Evil star get any more beautiful? We love the Old Hollywood Glamour of her voluminous brunette waves and matched with the full red pout and smoky eye, she is every inch the screen siren. With super bling drop earrings and a stunning on-shoulder gown from Elie Saab, Milla was our top choice for most stylish and most glamourous star of the night.
2) Rooney Mara:
We love Rooney Mara here at Hairbomb – she is different and quirky, but in a way that is attainable. She is a super inspiration for her bolder style and on the Oscars red carpet she was at her inspirational best – her trademark severe, blunt fringe was a sleek and shiny and ever, with the rest of her hair pulled into a cute little bun. Rooney was another lovely lady rocking the matte red lip, which matched perfectly with her heavy sculpted brow.
3) Ellie Kemper:
No wonder Ellie Kemper has such a big smile on her face – the copper shade of her hair is to die for (literally die for) and the long heavy fringe us ultra chic. Ellie was smart in the beauty stakes by keeping her lips and cheeks neutral, which makes her skin glow against the auburn hue of her hair. A smoky eye made her peepers pop under the eye-skimming fringe – what a stunner! It is also worth mentioning that Ellie was wearing one of the finest dresses of the night, an amazing bronze and gold sequin gown from Armarni Prive.
4) Angelina Jolie:
Our jealousy of Angelina Jolie continues as she manages to look absolutely flawless once again on the red carpet. She was at her vampish best with heavily arched eyebrows, soft highlighted waves, a full red pout and peaches and cream skin. Angelina was at her sensual best in a Atelier Versace black velvet gown with sexy thigh split – we have said it once and we will say it again, Brad is one lucky man,
5) Miley Cyrus:
Well would you look at Miley Cyrus – hasn't she grown up? We love the Hollywood hairstyle with the poker straight side parting and flicked out layers. The honey blonde hue was gorgeous against Miley's lightly tanned skin and bright blue eyes, which were further accentuated with big lashed and a heavily lined upper lid. Miley was also wearing a matte red lip, which seems to be a big upcoming make-up trend – to the make-up counter ladies.
