Earlier this week I informed all you lovelies of Coco Cox’s – gorgeous gap-toothed daughter of Courtney Cox – blue highlights, seeming to match those of Aunt Patricia (Arquette). She looked cute as a button and clearly loved being treated like a princess at the salon. I remember the first time I dyed my hair an unconventional colour…it was exciting, nerve-wracking and exhilarating all at the same time. Unfortunately I managed to get it horribly wrong; at the time I didn’t know that it’s not easy to dye dark brown hair straight to platinum blond at home. I ended up with a disasterous mixture of brown, dark brown and baked bean orange. It looked a complete mess, kind of like straw with tinned spaghetti mixed in.

Ever since that fateful day I have always took the advice of professionals when dying my hair, so I actually have some to dye in the future. • Orange:

Fudge’s Goldfinger – With this tangy orange shade you really will be the girl (or boy) with the golden touch.

• Purple:

Directions’ Lilac - With this gorgeous dreamy lilac colour you will be prettier than any flower (how cliché).

• Blue:

Manic Panic’s Atomic Blue is so vibrant you’re gonna blow people away.
