Rumer Willis may look like a young Bruce Willis in a wig and dress (he is her dad after all), but unlike her dad (let it go Bruce you’re bald) she has some gorgeous hair and really knows what to do with it. In the past Rumer has channelled elfish chic with super cute (and slightly boyish) crops in brassy blonde and black, old Hollywood glamour with copper shoulder length hair in retro waves and even channelled super-MILF mum, Demi Moore, with long and sleek brunette locks. Let’s just hope she never channels the hair of her dad…anyway, moving on.

 At the Badgley Mischka flagship store opening in Beverly Hills earlier this week, Rumer was on fire with flaming red hair in a loose up-do with lots of tight ringlets framing her face. Her red hair was matched beautifully with a neutral and subtle smoky eye, rosy cheeks and matte candy-pink lip. But the purple, one-shoulder dress, with more sparkle than a pimp convention clashed horrendously with the fabulous red of her hair; sticking with simple black, or colour or the season white, would have made the luscious locks as vibrant as the sun. Instead they were drowned out by the loudness of her frock.

 However, if you just look at Rumer from the neck up, she is a vision. The fiery red of her hair is the perfect compliment for her hazel eyes and her quite stunning ivory skin tone, and the tight ringlets really balance out the dimensions of her face. The girl was looking as fierce; so if you’re looking for a colour to rock this season, make it red. But, a warning to all the tan-tastic cheesy-wotzit a-likes out there, red and orange do not mix. Yippie-kay-yay…
