Do you remember Shayne Ward? No me neither, well not until I saw him on ITV’s This Morning…well this morning. Once known for his Grant Mitchell haircut and glass-breaking falsetto on the X-Factor the warbler now stars as Stacee Jaxx in the hit West End musical Rock Of Ages. Well it appears under that mullet wig he wears for his West End appearances, Shayne has been keeping a secret…he has hair!

Shayne Ward left his fans stunned when he appeared on the popular breakfast show, who left their sofas in their hundreds to take to the social networking site to comment on his new look. Positive or negative, Shayne Ward was one of the top trending topics on Twitter within minutes.

Groomed to absolute perfection (really there wasn’t a hair out of place – it could be a giant piece of Lego it was so neat), Shayne’s dark brunette locks were styled into a bouffant ‘do’ that wouldn’t look out of place in Jersey Shore or even in an old Wham video.

For me his look is just a little bit too ‘clean-cut’ and there is just a little bit too much volume – its just a bit to reminiscent of a 1990’s catalogue model fro me to get on board with it. Still, it can’t be denied that Shayne is still a handsome chappie and that his new look has got people talking.
