Until now, Hairbomb's postage charges have been based on the weight of what you order. We originally chose this option so that our customers had more control over what they were paying and by what speed they wanted their item to arrive with them.

Although a fairness based policy, the disadvantage of this is that you don't know really how much you will pay until you reach the checkout - it wasn't all that clear. Plus if you find it as hard to make a decision as I do, it just- adds that extra umming and ahhing at the end.

Sooo, we've had a bit of a re-think, we've looked into the sourcing of our postage supplies, streamlined a bit, and (formerly unheard of in Hairbomb's offices) we've even made a spreadsheet! The combination of all this glorious organisation has left Hairbomb's Accountant a little shocked to say the least.

Sooo, the outcome of this is that we have some fabulous new postage rates, which are as folows:

Standard Delivery (1st Class, 1-3 days) : £2.25

Next Day Delivery (Special Delivery): £6.95

Europe (Airmail): from £2.50

Do you know what else? ALL orders over £40 have FREE DELIVERY!

So what is the catch? Ok, we must be honest, the catch is that we have had to introduce some new packaging, which, for the moment, isn't as environmentally friendly, as it was previously.We are looking into this, and will hopefully be able to switch to fully degradeable mailing bags soon.

We thought that our customers would prefer the best value for money, and would be keen to recycle and reuse the mailing bags themselves. However, if this is not up to your environmental expectations, we do still have the recycled packaging, so if you prefer, pop us a note and we'll make sure your delivery goes out to you in true green style.
